CARPI Connect has facilitated its first major industry-academia partnership, connecting researchers at IIT Bombay with Tata Motors' advanced engineering division for a joint research program on electric vehicle battery optimization.
The partnership, valued at ₹5 crore over three years, will fund 4 PhD positions and 2 postdoctoral researchers working on next-generation battery management systems. CARPI Connect provided the matching framework, due diligence, and collaboration structure.
